Ohio State University Studies Apigenin for Breast Cancer!

Here’s some wonderfully positive news about apigenin! Apigenin is a substance found in  parsley, celery, celeriac, chamomile tea and some other fruits and vegetables.

In a recent article researchers at OSU explained that apigenin can make breast cancer cells mortal again, meaning they CAN be killed.

Apigenin has the ability to restore proper function to a protein called
hnRNPA2.

It can cause abnormal splicing of mRNA. Abnormal splicing is estimated to be the cause of 80% of all cancers! The abnormal splicing causes a change that allows cells to continue to live and reproduce aka… cancer.

The researchers showed that apigenin binds with an estimated 160 proteins in the human body, suggesting that other nutrients linked to health benefits – called “nutraceuticals” – might have similar far-reaching effects. In contrast, most pharmaceutical drugs target a single molecule.

Healthy eating=normal splicing and endless health benefits!

Juicing celery is a great way to get more apigenin!
